Patch Pets: Meet Carmen

Carmen needs a second chance—maybe you can help.

This brindle beauty is Carmen!

In addition to her good looks, Carmen has a playful and affectionate personality. She is a little over 2 years old and weighs about 60 pounds.

She had been adopted from our shelter when she was a pup. Now, she finds herself looking for a new home. She's been a little lonely in the shelter and would love for more people to come in, say hi and maybe even take her home.

Carmen walks nicely on a leash, and definitely shows signs of being house-trained.

She also loves chasing balls. Carmen really deserves to find her "forever home" this time around.

If you'd like to find out more about her, please contact her volunteer friend, Barb, at bcolker@comcast.net. Carmen's adoption fee is $115.

Come to the Animal Rescue League at 6620 Hamilton Ave. in East Liberty or call 412-661-6452 to meet any dozens of dogs and scores of cats. The shelter is open for adoptions Tuesday through Friday 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday through Monday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
