Darby Road Lane Closing Weekdays Through Late March: PennDOT

PennDOT said the work is part of a project to help reduce departure-related fatal and serious injury crashes in the region.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — PennDOT announced that a weekday lane closure is planned on Darby Road in Haverford Township due to pavement marking work starting next week.

According to PennDOT, crews will be working from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays Monday, March 18 through Friday, March 29.

The affected portion of area is at the intersection of Darby Road and Scarlet Oak Drive.

Nearby, Haverford Road in Lower Merion Township will have a similar lane closure during the same span of days and same times of day between Witley Road and Drayton Lane.

This work is part of a project to install lane departure improvements to reduce lane departure-related fatal and serious injury crashes across the five-county Philadelphia region.
