Eagle Road Closing For Tree Removal Work: PennDOT

Eagle Road in Haverford Township will be fully closed as crews work to remove trees along a portion of it next week, PennDOT said.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Eagle Road in Haverford Township will be closed fully for one day next week due to tree removal work, PennDOT said.

Work will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday.

The affected portion of Eagle Road is between Warrior and Burmont roads, PennDOT said.

Crews will be removing trees in the area, forcing drivers to be detoured to use Springfield Road, Township Line Road/U.S. 1, and Burmont Road.

Local access will be maintained up to the closure.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling near the work area because backups and delays will occur.
