First Annual Andy Lewis 5K Run/Walk is scheduled for September 25th

Supports the work of Discover Haverford

Discover Haverford is organizing the first annual Andy Lewis 5K Run/Walk on Sunday, SEPTEMBER 25th at 8:30am at the Andy Lewis Community Park at Haverford Reserve, 9000 Parkview Drive, Haverford, PA 19041.

The Andy Lewis 5K Run is named in honor of an esteemed Haverford Township Commissioner who died suddenly in 2021. Andy served for nine years as Township Commissioner, as well as four years on Delaware County Council. He was widely admired for his intelligence, integrity, and kind heart.

“Andy was a strong supporter of the work of Discover Haverford,” explains Race Chairman and Discover Haverford Board President Mike Mallick. “This race honors Andy in a way that would make him proud, as he truly loved this community.”

Discover Haverford (HPED) is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that facilitates government, businesses, commercial property owners and residents working together to promote economic growth throughout Haverford Township. We foster economic growth in Haverford Township by supporting local businesses, promoting Haverford Township as a shopping and dining destination, organizing shop local events and programs, and revitalizing our business districts and public spaces.
