Free Document Shredding, Recycling Saturday In Haverford Township

Haverford Township residents can safely dispose of personal documents and other paper items this weekend at the administration building.

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Residents in Haverford Township can safely dispose of old documents at a shredding and recycling event this weekend.

Wiggins Shredding is teaming up with the township to offer free document shredding and recycling on Saturday.

From 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., township residents only can use the free service at the Haverford Township Administration Building.

Residents are limited to a maximum of four boxes of papers, or the equivalent of four boxes' worth of papers.

Large binder clips must be removed before papers can be shredded or recycled.

Residents dropping off items are to remain in their vehicles at all times.

Papers being dropped off for shredding or recycling should be placed in vehicle back seats or trunks.

Residents should enter the Administration Building area from Darby Road only and exit onto Manoa Road.

The Haverford Township Administration Building is located at 1014 Darby Road in Havertown.
