Funeral For Late Haverford Police Sergeant Tuesday
Haverford Police Sgt. Kevin Redding died at 52 years old on Dec. 20 from coronavirus complications. He will be laid to rest Tuesday.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Haverford Police Sgt. Kevin Redding will be laid to rest this week after losing a battle with the coronavirus.
Redding, 53, died on Dec. 20 from complications related to the coronavirus, police said.
A viewing will be held from 9 a.m. to 12:05 p.m. Tuesday at the Funeral Home of John Stretch, 236 E. Eagle Road in Havertown.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Denis Church, 2401 St. Denis Lane in Havertown.
In lieu of flowers, offerings in Redding's name to either the University of Scranton Field Hockey Team or to the Delaware County Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 27 Foundation, 201 N. Jackson St., Media, Pennsylvania 19063 are requested.

Redding, a 27-year veteran of the Haverford Police Department, is survived by his wife Donna, son Kevin Redding Jr., daughter Katie, and numerous other family members, according to his obituary.
