Haverford Dog Park Open Again After Downed Tree Forced Closure
A large tree fell in the Haverford Reserve Dog Park Saturday, scattering park goers and their dogs as they avoided the falling tree.
HAVERFORD, PA — The Haverford Reserve Dog Park has reopened after a large tree fell in the park Saturday.
A Patch reader said about six people were in the park with their dogs when the tree fell.
The falling tree sent the park goers and their pups scrambling out of the way, according to the reader.

Haverford Township Parks and Recreation said the park closed Sunday for maintenance work.
Officials at about 2:30 p.m. Monday said the park was open once again.
