Haverford YMCA Hosting 'Gobble Wobble' Run, Walk On Thanksgiving

HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Before you indulge in turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, pie and more on Thanksgiving this year, consider getting a 5K run or a 2-mile walk in at the Haverford YMCA's "Gobble Wobble."

This year's Gobble Wobble will take place Thursday, Nov. 23 at 9 a.m.

Until Sept. 4, registration costs $30.

The price increases after Sept. 4.

Group discounts will also be offered to groups of four or more.

Participants who refer four friends using sharable links after registration are eligible for up to $30 refund.

Proceeds from the race ensure community members have low cost access to youth programs, child care, and membership.

5K participant results will be chipped time.

The 2-mile event is stroller friendly.

Virtual participation is also an option.

Both courses begin on Ralston Avenue near our YMCA parking lot.
