Havertown Garden Center Giving Your Pumpkins To Farm Animals
Drop off whole, undecorated and unpainted pumpkins at Orner's Garden Center for them to be sent to the pigs and chickens at Lindenhof Farms.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Spooky season is over, and that means pumpkins gourds are less desirable in and outside homes.
Luckily for Haverford Township residents, Orner's Garden Center is collecting pumpkins to be used for hog and chicken feed.
Residents can drop off whole undecorated pumpkins free of paint and glossy sprays at Orner's from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays.
