Leaf Collections Begin Monday In Haverford Township
As fall creeps on and leaves are dropping in droves, Haverford residents should know when to expect crews to come by for collection.
HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — Fall is in full swing in Southeastern Pennsylvania, with many homeowners breaking out the rakes and leaf blowers to keep their yards tidy.
So when can residents of Haverford Township get their leaves collected?
It all starts next week.

For eight weeks, township crews will be making rounds to various wards for leaf collection.
All leaves should be ready for pickup by 6 a.m. on the Monday of the collection week.

Below is the township's leaf collection schedule:
- Week of Nov. 1 — Wards 1, 2, 3, 4
- Week of Nov. 8 — Wards 5, 6, 7,
- Week of Nov. 15 — Wards 8, 9
- Week of Nov. 22 — Wards 1, 2
- Week of Nov. 29 — Wards 3, 4
- Week of Dec. 6 — Wards 5, 6
- Week of Dec. 13 — Wards 7, 8
- Week of Dec. 20 — Wards 9
For leaf collection, residents should not bag leaves. Bagged leaves will not be collected as part of the leaf collection, and rather be collected with trash.
