Make an Easy $10 on Small Business Saturday

Small Business Saturday — coming up on Nov. 329 — is all about shopping local, and shopping small.

But it doesn’t just have to be about to giving back to the community -- you can get a little something, too. American Express, which created Small Business Saturday to help support mom-and-pop businesses back in 2010, will give you a $10 statement credit if you spend $10 or more in a single, in-store transaction at a qualifying small business on Small Business Saturday. You can take advantage of the offer up to three times for a total $30 statement credit, American Express said.

All you have to do to get the credit is register your AMEX card online between now and 11:59 p.m. MST on Nov 29, 2014.
