Pothole Repair Work Planned On Several Delco Roads
PennDOT crews will be targeting deteriorated roads in Marple, Haverford, Media, and more Delaware County towns for repair work.
DELAWARE COUNTY, PA — PennDOT said crews will be working to address deteriorated roads across the Philadelphia region next week, and several of those roads are in Delaware County.
Maintenance crews will be working on more than 30 state highways next week to repair deteriorated pavement in Philadelphia, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery counties.
In Delaware County, potholes on the following roads will be addressed:

- Route 320, Marple Township
- Burmont Road, Upper Darby Township
- Chelsea Road, Aston Township
- Hook Road, Darby Township
- Manoa Road, Haverford Township
- Marple Road, Marple Township
- Orange Street, Media Borough
- Rose Valley Road, Nether Providence Township
- Wannamaker Avenue, Tinicum Township
Motorists are advised of travel restrictions and possible slowdowns next week when driving near work crews patching potholes.
The Philadelphia region experiences a high volume of potholes each season due to temperatures fluctuating between freezing and mild, known as a rapid freeze-thaw cycle.

Since Jan. 1, District 6 has received more than 4,300 customer concerns regarding potholes.
