HAVERFORD TOWNSHIP, PA — The School District of Haverford Township is looking for its next Superintendent of Schools, and the community has chances to help in the search.
The ideal candidate will embrace the district’s strategic goals of preparing successful, independent citizens, fostering social-emotional wellness, and enhancing diversity and inclusion while guiding the district toward future success.
Delaware County Intermediate Unit (DCIU) has been selected to conduct a nationwide search for the School District of Haverford Township’s next superintendent.

As part of the search process, DCIU is gathering feedback from the Haverford Township community.
All stakeholders of the School District of Haverford Township are invited to share their valuable input in a variety of ways including an online survey, targeted online focus groups, and an in person focus group for the Haverford Township community.

Haverford Township community members are invited to take a survey online here aimed at helping to develop a leadership profile that will guide the selection of the next superintendent.
Targeted focus group have also been scheduled as part of the community and stakeholder engagement strategy for gathering input on the desired qualities and attributes for the next superintendent. Parents, guardians, and community members can attend the following virtual focus group events:
The district supports roughly 6,640 students across one high school, one middle school, and five elementary schools and has more than 1,200 staff members
