Hatboro's New Fire Marshal Was Recently Sworn Into Office
Tyler Dermer is the new fire marshal in Hatboro. He comes to the borough with an extensive background in emergency management.

HATBORO, PA — There is a new fire marshal in town.
Tyler Dermer was sworn into his position as the borough's new fire marshal during a meeting of the Hatboro Borough Council this week.
Dermer is a Montgomery County native who was raised in Rockledge Borough and graduated from Abington Senior High School, according to a bio provided by Hatboro officials.

Dermer is currently a lieutenant with the Rockledge Volunteer Fire Company, where he has been for the past nine years, and where he volunteers alongside two of his brothers. He is a second-generation volunteer with the fire company.
Dermer is also the current Emergency Management Coordinator for Rockledge Borough, according to Hatboro officials.

Hatboro's Borough Manager, Diane Hegele, recently administered the oath of office to Dermer in front of borough council members.
