Under current borough zoning laws, a commissary kitchen is not an approved use. Borough officials said the current zoning is retail commercial, which permits a restaurant/takeout establishment.

The borough is enforcing the current zoning. El Limon is appealing the decision and is seeking a waiver of the ordinance to continue to operate the commissary kitchen.
