Candidate Questions
1. How do you feel about the former Navy Base development?
Excited! Two years ago, I submitted my resume to the township expressing interest in getting involved with the land redevelopment. That inquiry ended up being what catapulted me to run for Council. It’s my hope that we, as a community, create something beautiful, purposeful, and sustainable.
2. What are your thoughts on political violence in the country?
It’s scary and it’s sad. I think it’s a disgrace that the President pardoned the violent rioters who invaded the Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. Political violence should not be tolerated, let alone pardoned.
3. What are the biggest challenges facing the borough?
Responsible development. We have the Navy base development ahead of us, and we have existing office buildings that are empty. We need to attract and retain the right businesses to contribute to our economy.
