Man Gets 3-6 Years for Stealing Guitars, Cadillac from Horsham Home

A Whitpain Township man stole five guitars and a 2000 Cadillac from the Horsham Township home of his ex-girlfriend's family.

A former Whitpain Township man is headed to prison for three to six years after stealing from his own mother and his ex-girlfriend's family, according to The Intelligencer.

Brian M. Newell, 38, formerly of the 2500 block of Buckeye Circle, pleaded guilty in Montgomery County court to felony burglary offenses, related to the theft of five guitars totaling $8,200 and a 2000 Cadillac from the Limekiln Pike, Horsham Township home of his ex-girlfriend in July 2013, per the article.

Newell also stole his mom's debit card while he stayed with her in June 2013, racking up $910 in ATM withdrawals and convenience store purchases, per the report.
