Fire Crews Battled Blaze This Weekend At The Homewood Suites By Hilton In Horsham
Horsham fire officials say crews were called out to battle a blaze at the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Horsham this past weekend.

HORSHAM, PA — Fire crews were called out to battle a blaze at the Homewood Suites by Hilton hotel in Horsham this past weekend.
Firefighters with the Horsham Fire Company were dispatched to the hotel building on Saturday evening for reports of a multi-alarm fire, according to a post on the Horsham ChATs Facebook page.
The hotel fire caused the closure of Blair Mill Road for nearly two hours, and drivers were told to avoid the area.

No injuries were reported and the Horsham Township fire marshal is continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.
Mutual aid companies came out to assist in extinguishing the fire, according to Horsham emergency personnel. Those companies were from Fort Washington, Hatboro, Warminster, Willow Grove, Warrington, Weldon, Abington, Roslyn, Wissahickon, Montgomery Township and Second Alarmers.

The Horsham Department of Emergency Management was also on scene to assist hotel staff with guest matters, according to Horsham ChATs, which stands for Horsham Chief's Advisory Teams, which is a community policing, disaster planning, town watch and emergency management group that disseminates public safety information in the community.
