She soon got involved in the Millbrook Society, a local historic preservation group, which "inspired her to remain active in her community," throughout her adult years, the borough stated.

"These childhood experiences would ultimately yield a life-long passion for historic preservation, supporting local charities, and inspiring community service through her volunteerism," the borough posted to Facebook.

Before her death, Giovinazzo most recently served as chair of the Hatboro Historic Commission, borough historian, vice chair of the Zoning Hearing Board, president of the Hatboro Resident's Association, and volunteered for various community events, such as the Thanksgiving parade, farmer's market and HAT Packs program.

"Tina's selflessness, passion, and dedication made a lasting impact in the Borough and will forever live on in Hatboro's history," the borough stated.
