Hatboro Borough Council Reducing Meetings
Hatboro Borough Council will only meet once a month for the rest of the year, borough officials have announced.

HATBORO, PA — The days of having separate Hatboro Borough Council and Borough Council Committee meetings are over — at least for the rest of the year.
Officials announced last week that the Hatboro Borough Council will meet once a month for the rest of the year.
There was no information provided on whether the meeting change will also remain that way in 2026.

During the summer, Hatboro Borough Council would combine its council and committee meetings into one. Officials are going to stick with that routine now.
"Council made a change to their meeting schedule for the remainder of 2025," officials said. "We will be continuing to meet once a month."

The next council meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Sept. 22.
In other borough business:
- The Hatboro Police Department is urging residents and drivers to be mindful of increased pedestrian traffic as children return to school. Crossing guards at Crooked Billet School should also be obeyed to get children to and from school safely.
- Police are also reminding residents not to leave valuables in their vehicles. Vehicles should be locked at all times. Anyone who sees something suspicious should contact the police department.
- There is no trash or recycling collection on Monday for the Labor Day holiday. Meanwhile, the Southeastern PA Regional Household Hazardous Waste Event is Tuesday in Royersford. Yje next pick up in the borough is Wednesday. To get on the list you need to pay a fee and register at Borough Hall.
