Hatboro-Horsham SD Dismisses 1 Hour Early Due To Storm Forecast

HATBORO-HORSHAM, PA — School students in this eastern Montgomery County district will be dismissed an hour earlier than normal Monday afternoon due to a severe weather forecast.

District administrators announced on social media and on the Hatboro-Horsham website that school would end an hour early and that all after-school activities and athletics would be cancelled due to the afternoon forecast in the region, which includes the possibilities of heavy rain, winds and even possible tornadoes coming to the region.

Other schools in the Greater Philadelphia region announced early dismissals as well Monday after meteorologists said the region could be pounded with severe and intense weather.
