Hatters Think 'Pink' for Breast Cancer

Here's what's happening on Tuesday in Hatboro and Horsham.

The Hatboro-Horsham High School girls field hockey team is getting a jumpstart on Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October by playing Tuesday's home game against Quakertown in honor of women in their lives who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Proceeds from the game (JV 5:30; varsity at 7 p.m.) benefit the Faith and Hope Boutique. 

A spirit night to benefit Simmons Elementary School will be held Tuesday at YoFresh Yogurt Cafe, 314 Horsham Road in Horsham. From 6 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., 20 percent of sales will be donated.

The Union Library of Hatboro, 243 S. York Road will offer pre-school storytime on Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. The library's weekly knitting circle meets Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. 

The Horsham Township Library, 435 Babylon Road, will host its baby tales storytime on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. The session is designed for children up to 18 months old. At 11:30 a.m. the library will offer toddler tales for children 18 months to 2 years old. Pre-registration is required for both sessions.
