The home at 440 South York Road is a historic property that served as a station on the Underground Railroad.

In August 2020, the Millbrook Society and the Borough of Hatboro announced that the house would be spared from demolition after being purchased by new owners.
It was part of the YMCA complex since 1963. The new owners are incorporating the historic building into their Victorian Village development.
