HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — The weather outside was rainy on Saturday morning. But inside, the Keith Valley Middle School was alive in the celebration of history.

The Millbrook Society, Hatboro's historical society, is hosting its third annual Crooked Billet History Fair on Saturday at Keith Valley Middle School in Horsham.

The Battle of Crooked Billet was fought on May 1, 1778, near the Crooked Billet Tavern, which is present-day Hatboro. British forces launched a surprise attack in the skirmish against Pennsylvania militia, who had to retreat to Bucks County.
