More Home Health Care Options In Philly Area As Jefferson Health, BAYADA Partner
Jefferson Health and BAYADA Home Health Care partnered to offer more patient services in Montgomery and Bucks counties, and Philadelphia.
HORSHAM, PA — More in-home health care is available to residents in the Montgomery County, Bucks County, and Philadelphia areas as part of a partnership between two providers, a news release says.
Jefferson Health and BAYADA Home Health Care are collaborating to offer in-home care to patients who are managing chronic conditions, recovering from a hospital stay, needing physical or occupational therapy, or expecting a baby.
Staff from Jefferson Health New Jersey, Jefferson Health Abington and Einstein Montgomery will provide home health care, and BAYADA's Philadelphia staff will support operations, the news release said.

"Jefferson Health at Home by BAYADA offers high-quality care to Jefferson Health patients, as well as to those referred by other providers in the community, who are managing chronic conditions or recovering from recent surgery, illness, injury, or hospitalization," the providers said.

BAYADA is headquartered in southern New Jersey, and provides care to children, adults, and seniors in 22 states.

“We are thrilled to launch this new offering in the Philadelphia region, where we will provide simple, timely transitions of care to best serve patients and reduce burden on health system staff,” said BAYADA Home Health Care CEO David Baiada. “Our mission-aligned partnership is designed with the patient at the center, allowing us to develop models of care that will meet the increasing and critical demand for care at home – where we know people want to be most.”
Jefferson Health has 18 hospitals and more than 50 outpatient and urgent care locations in greater Philadelphia and southern New Jersey, the news release said.
