Legislators Hosted A Meeting This Week For Residents Dealing With Hurricane Ida Issues
Eight months after Hurricane Ida hit the region and caused damage in places like Horsham and Upper Dublin, residents are still reeling.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — Local lawmakers who are working with the state insurance department to help speed up the recovery process for residents still feeling the ill effects of Hurricane Ida last September held a special meeting this week to hear from locals on problems relating to the ongoing disaster cleanup effort.
State Rep. Todd Stephens and State Sen. Maria Collett were on hand to hear concerns and offer solutions to community members in areas like Horsham and Upper Dublin Townships who are still waiting on insurance money to help them rebuild their damaged homes, according to a report on CBS 3 Philadelphia.
The legislators participated in a community meeting that took place Thursday evening at Maple Glen Elementary School, according to the CBS 3 report.
