Loretta Anne Festa, 57, of Hatboro

Loretta Anne Festa of Hatboro, formerly of Ewing, N.J., died on Saturday at Silver Stream Senior Center. She was 57.

Born in Trenton, N.J., Festa was the daughter of Antoinette Ferrante and the late Gerald Festa. A graduate of Notre Dame High School, she was a lifelong learner who continued her education in art and art history.

She always found the time to give back to her community. Her love of nature and the outdoors was outshone only by her love of life and family.

She is survived by her son, Jeremy Joyce; her daughter, Rachel Joyce; four sisters, Karen Jolly, Renee Festa-Spradlin, Annette Hanway, and MaryRose Taglialatella, two brothers, Gerald Jude Festa, and Richard "Ricky" Festa; and her life partner and best friend, Carmine Veneziale.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, in St. Jude Roman Catholic Church, 323 W. Butler Ave., Chalfont.

Her interment will follow in St. John Neumann Cemetery, Warrington Township. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Festa's name may be made to The Festa Foundation Scholarship Fund. For information on how to donate, write to the foundation at 19 Joan Trail, Langhorne, PA 19047.
