Montco Man Heading To Prison For Sexually Abusing Girls Under 13 Years Of Age

Adan Quiroz, 41, of Ambler, was sentenced to prison for sexually abusing two underage girls during a near year-long period.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, PA — A 41-year-old Ambler man was sentenced to between seven and 14 years behind bars for sexually abusing young girls during a near year-long period.

Adan Quiroz received his sentencing in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court soon after he pleaded guilty to three criminal charges in connection with the sexual abuse, in which he admitting to having had inappropriate contact with two girls under 13 years of age between January 2016 and November 2017, according to court records and media reports.

Records show that late last month, Quiroz pleaded guilty to felony statutory sexual assault, felony involuntary deviate sexual intercourse-forcible compulsion, and felony endangering the welfare of children.

Montgomery County Common Pleas Court Judge Wendy Rothstein handed down the sentence on Jan. 31, according to court records.

The Times Herald newspaper of Norristown reported that Quiroz knew his underage victims and that the two girls had been in his company on various occasions at a residence in Horsham Township when the inappropriate conduct occurred.

Quiroz reportedly knew the families of the two girls, who were both under the age of 13 at the time the abuse took place.

He was accused of sexually assaulting one of the girls and touching the second girl in a sexual manner, according to the Times Herald account. He was also accused of forcing the girls to shower with him.

In addition to his time in prison, Quiroz has been ordered to complete three years of probation after he is released from state custody.

Records show that the case was prosecuted by Montgomery County Assistant District Attorneys Gabriella Soreth and Bridget Gallagher.

Quiroz was represented by Jenkintown-based attorney Robert Madden of The Philly Lawyers group.
