National Night Out Events Planned In Hatboro-Horsham

Horsham is holding festivities Tuesday night while Hatboro has plans for Friday night.

HATBORO / HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — National Night Out festivities will take place this week in Hatboro and Horsham Township.

In Horsham, National Night Out will take place from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Horsham Township Municipal Complex followed by fireworks at Deep Meadow Park.

Meanwhile, in Hatboro, National Night Out festivities will be held on Friday.

National Night Out is an annual, nationwide campaign that promotes strong police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.

The event is designed to enhance the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while spotlighting the community.

The Greater Hatboro Chamber of Commerce, Hatboro Police Department, and the Borough of Hatboro are co-sponsoring Hatboro’s annual National Night Out on Friday from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

The free, family-friendly event will be held at Miller Meadow Park, South York Road (at York and Horsham Road).

Participating organizations include the Enterprise Fire Company, the Hatboro Police Department, the Upper Moreland Police Department, Second Alarmers Rescue Squad, the Montgomery County Department of Public Safety, Eastern Montgomery County SWAT, Montgomery County Detectives, State Rep. Nancy Guenst, and more.

This year, organizers are asking residents, friends, and business owners to bring school supplies to help fill school backpacks.

Anywhere Mini-Golf will be set up so attendees can putt around the meadow.
