HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — Behind the Dunkin Donuts on Route 611, a structure can be seen. And just off Easton Road, a small sign says what's coming.

What's coming is the Buxmont Pickleball Club.

With pickleball still a popular sport that has popped up in communities throughout the Philadelphia Region, Horsham Township is capitalizing on that craze.

And now construction is progressing.

"Our walls are up," the Buxmont Pickleball Club said, showing off the recent construction in a Facebook post.

Owners said the new construction of the 10,000-square-foot building is nearing completion and almost ready for pickleball fans in Bucks and Montgomery counties.

The building will feature 30’ ceilings —higher than most pickleball facilities —with a large viewing mezzanine.

Modern courts with divider barriers, a Pro Shop, and changing areas are on the way.

There will be discounted “Founders Memberships” starting in July.
