"I am so excited to be heading back to the Super Bowl to be cheering on the Eagles,: said Boone, who cheered for the Birds when they lost to the Chiefs two years ago. On Saturday, the cheerleaders will perform in the first-ever Super Bowl Host Committee Parade in the French Quarters, Boone said.

She said the parade will showcase the magic of Mardis Gras, including Super Bowl-themed floats along with local marching bands, stomping groups, and all kinds of celebrity guests and athletes.

"I am excited to see our Philadelphia culture mix with the rich culture of New Orleans," Boone told Patch.

Boone has been busy in New Orleans.

"We have many different activations throughout the week leading up to the game that will keep us busy," she said.

Among the activities are celebrating league-wide community initiatives such as "Salute to Service," "Crucial Catch," and "Inspire Change."

The cheerleaders will have a parade on Saturday and be cheering in the Super Bowl.

The cheerleaders have a routine, Boone said.

"Our routine definitely showcases the wonderful talents of our team and our music mix has some nods to Philadelphia culture," Boone said. "I am really excited to be bringing some of Philly heritage to the Super Bowl field."
