Summer Road Paving Project Wraps Up In Horsham

Horsham officials said 14 roads were completed this summer as part of the township's road paving project.

HORSHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — Horsham Township has completed its summer road paving project.

Horsham officials thanked the public works department and the township's paving contractor, Glasgow, for their "excellent work" in completing the paving before the new school year began.

"This project was no small task — in just three weeks, about 4 miles of roadway were milled, paved, and line-painted," officials said. "That’s an incredible accomplishment."

Among the roads completed this summer were:

  • Greenwoods Drive
  • Beaver Hill Road
  • Forester Road
  • Lower State Rd. (Rt. 463 to Squires Drive)
  • Marrietta Drive
  • Firewood Road
  • Cedarbrook Drive
  • Joseph Road
  • Lois Road
  • Biwood Road
  • West Moreland Avenue (Route 611 to Maple Avenue)
  • Prospect Avenue
  • Babylon Road (Davis Grove to Route 463)
  • Babylon Road (Sheehy to Rt. 463)
