The Horsham Township Little League said it is also instituting a "volunteer fee" like neighboring Hatboro.
"As you know, Horsham Little League is managed entirely by volunteers," organizers posted on its website. "We have a dedicated core group of individuals who consistently go above and beyond to ensure things run smoothly throughout the season; however, we need significantly more volunteers to ensure our organization remains one of the best in Montgomery County."

To increase volunteerism, Horsham Little League is utilizing a "volunteer fee" that will be refunded at the end of the season if residents elect to assist as a coach or work in the snack stand.
"Our Little League program is one of the best in the region, and that's because of people like you. The changes we are implementing aim to improve the experience for everyone involved," the organization said.
The league did not state how much the volunteer fee is. The cost to register for the season is $203.
Hatboro recently announced that registration was also open for its 2023 Little League season. This year, though, a $75 volunteer fee was added to assist with maintaining baseball fields. Residents who volunteer for two hours get the fee reimbursed.
The Horsham Little League also announced on its Facebook page that it will take outgrown or used equipment.
"Did you receive new equipment as a gift this holiday season? Outgrow equipment? If so, don’t throw it out, play it forward. Hold onto any outgrown used equipment and play it forward to someone else," the Little League stated.
Drop-off/distribution dates will be announced in late February and early March.
The Little League also said that there's still time for softball players to sign up for the winter clinic at Hatboro-Horsham High School. The clinic begins on Sunday, Jan 8.
