School Evacuated Over Gas Odor In Lower Bucks Co.: Report

The Bristol school evacuation comes several weeks after a gas explosion at a nursing home that killed three people.

BRISTOL BOROUGH, PA — A Lower Bucks County elementary school was evacuated on Wednesday morning due to an odor of gas, according to a report.

All students and staff of the Snyder-Girotti Elementary School on Beaver Street in Bristol were relocated to the Grundy Ice Arena, Action News 6 reported.

Students were then being dismissed for the day. There was no immediate word on what caused the odor of gas at the school.
