Lisa Tobin, Beloved Spring-Ford Volunteer, Passes Away

ROYERSFORD, PA — Lisa Tobin, a beloved volunteer with the Spring-Ford Area School District and devoted member of the community, passed away over the weekend after a long battle with cancer.

Tobin spent years working with the Spring-Ford music community, devoting countless hours of service to supporting and nurturing children and young musicians.

"Lisa will be deeply missed here, leaving behind fond memories we have of her and all of her years of service to our organization," the Spring-Ford Music Association shared. "Lisa LOVED working with and getting to know the kids. In the time she had been sick, she struggled with her limitations and was frustrated by not being able to help out in the ways she usually would or work with the kids like she used to before."

A GoFundMe campaign, which had been launched to help assist with Lisa's medical expenses, managed to raise nearly $13,000 over the past few years.

Lisa is survived by her husband Frank and their children, and many devoted family and friends.

Funeral service arrangements have not yet been announced.
