RETIRED, POLICE K-9 FLYNN, HONORED AT MEETING ON JANUARY 21st

On Tuesday, January 21st, the Limerick Township Board of Supervisors honored retiring Police K-9, Flynn, for his 8 years of service on the Limerick Township Police Department. Flynn is a graduate of the Philadelphia Police K-9 Academy, and the first Explosive Detection trained K-9 in Limerick Township history. During his career, Flynn tracked criminals and conducted sweeps for explosives, most notably for national events such as the US Open Golf Championship and the DNC Convention in Philadelphia. He also assisted in protecting the Pope during his historic visit to Philadelphia. Flynn is retiring to the care and home of his handler, K-9 Officer, Kevin McGuigan. We thank Flynn for his service!
