Spring City Man, 48, Navy Vet Who Loved Schuylkill River Trail
Spring City's Brad Rabold has passed away at age 48. A Navy vet, he was remembered for his love of the beach, SRT, Phillies, and Eagles.

PHOENIXVILLE, PA β Brad L. Rabold, 48, husband of Heather (Lawrence) Rabold, of Spring City, with whom he shared 17 years of marriage, passed away at home on Tuesday, February 27, 2018.
Born August 12, 1969 in Bethlehem, PA, he was the son of the late Ted Franklin and Bonnie (Lindsell) Rabold of Chambersburg, PA. He was a graduate of the 1987 class at James Buchanan High School, Mercersburg, PA.

Brad took the 10 year college plan, starting at Wittenberg University, Springfield, OH. Following, he spent 5 years serving in the United States Navy hunting submarines on a P3 Orion airplane, traveling the world. Post Navy, Brad completed his college education at Shippensburg University, Shippensburg, PA with a Bachelors degree in Computer Science. During college, he met his wife in 1997. He had an amazing group of brothers in Lambda Chi Alpha fraternity.
Brad spent his 21 year career working for SMS/Siemens/Cerner, most recently as a Project Manager.

He enjoyed walking on the Schuylkill River Trail 3.5 miles every day, listening to Dave Matthews Band or walking with his neighbors Dan and Adrian. He also loved Taylor Swift, which included a great concert in 2016 with his family. He loved going to the beach, hearing the waves, riding on his boogie board and relaxing on the sand. He loved to take his family to the Phillies game once a year in the summer.
He was a HUGE Eagles fan! He was so excited that the last game he watched was with his brother and wife and they won the Super Bowl!
Surviving in addition to his wife (Heather L.) and mother (Bonnie L.) are 2 beautiful daughters: Hannah K. and Emerson "Emmy" A.; brother: Todd F., husband of Amy H., of Winston Salem, NC; sister: Kye K., wife of Stephen Holtry of Surfside Beach, SC; mother-in-law: Janet Lawrence-Nelson; brother in law: Chris E. Lawrence, husband of Suzanne A. Banks, of Dresher, PA; step mother-in-law: Adrienne S. Yates; sister-in-law: April J., wife of Christopher Cobb, of Spring City; and brother-in-law: Seamus N. Phillips.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Campbell-Ennius-Klotzbach Funeral Home located at 610 Main Street, Phoenixville, PA on Friday March 2, 2018 from 4:30-6:00 pm. Burial will be private. A Celebration of Life will be held in the future for close friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Brad Rabold Education Fund, c/o Phoenixville Federal, P.O. Box 708, Phoenixville, PA 19460 for the Hannah and Emerson college fund.
