Spring-Ford Grad, Army Vet, Passes Away At Age 38

The local man, known for his "upbeat attitude and infectious laugh," passed away on Easter Sunday.

ROYERSFORD, PA β€” Ryan Francis McCaul, of Pottstown and formerly of Upper Providence died suddenly on Sunday, April 1, 2018. He was 38.

Born on December 17, 1979 in Abington Twp., Pennsylvania, he was a son of the late Sgt. Francis McCaul USMC ret. and Eileen (Gowen) McCaul of King of Prussia. He was a graduate of Spring-Ford High School and served in the Army and National Guard.

Ryan worked in property management throughout the area.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a Daughter, Ella; Brother, Gerald McCaul of Salt Lake City, UT; Sister, Theresa McCaul of Conshohocken, PA and several aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends who all loved and will miss him.

A visitation will be held on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Cattermole-Klotzbach Funeral Home, 600 Washington St. Royersford, PA from 11-12 PM. A time of sharing will be held at Noon. Burial with military honors will be held Monday, April 9, 2018 at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. Please arrive by 9 am at the cemetery.
