Fire Damages Home in Betzwood Trailer Park

One reported injured with burns.

The fire reported in the trailer park occured at 115 Whitley Drive, within Lower Providence Township. The home's owners said they were out safely, as were their dogs.

Neighbors say that a previous fire had happened before in the area, and it is documented from 2009 on the Lower Providence Fire Department call history pages online.

Neighbors, who asked us not to print their full names, also noted that it was difficult to get water to the fire, due to the lack of fire hydrants in the Betzwood Trailer Park. They also say a lack of street lights and poor maintenance is a problem with homeowners there.
