Halloween Around Town

Here are the spooky adventures to come.

Saturday, Oct. 26-Thursday, Oct. 31: The Haunted Garden has made its spooky return to Lower Providence this year, thanks to Lisa Yanak and Angela Mullen, who donate their efforts and their land, and then donate visitors’ donations to the Lower Providence Community Library. The garden is in its ninth year, and is even bigger this year, with new items like animatronic spookies. Popular with young children, it will be open Oct. 21-31, weather permitting. On weekdays it will be open from 4-8 p.m. and on weekends, 12-8 p.m. On Halloween the garden will be open all day. It is free but donations are very welcome and will go to the library. The Haunted Garden is located at 38 Summit Avenue in Eagleville, PA. Guests may park on the even-numbered side of the street. Click HERE for more information about the event.

Wednesday, Oct. 30: the Collegeville Rotary Club will hold their annual Halloween Parade starting 6 p.m. at Vince Raffeo’s parking lot behind Benjamin Moore Paint at 454 East Main Street in Collegeville, PA. There will be a costume contest with prizes. Judging will take place from 6-6:20 p.m. and the actual parade will start at 6:30 p.m., where the revelers will make a right turn from the parking lot and end at the Philly Soft Pretzel Factory around 7:30 p.m. Children and families can march. Guests are asked to park on a side street. Click HERE for more information about the event and sponsorship opportunities.
