Broomall Firefighter Dies

BROOMALL, PA — A member of the Delaware County first responder community has died.

Firefighter Eric Brown died Saturday, according to the Broomall Fire Company and his obituary.

Brown, a United States Marine Corps veteran, is survived by his wife Lauren and song Hunter and Jordan, among other family members.

"Eric’s heart and his desire to help others were unmistakable," the fire company said. "His love for his family was fervent, especially when he spoke of his sons."

Brown joined the Broomall Fire Company in 2020 and was a familiar and friendly presence around the station before joining.

He was known for "responding to calls with a smile and a willingness to help in any way he could," the fire company said.

Relatives and friends are invited to memorial services at 1 p.m. Sunday at Joseph Levine & Sons, 2811 West Chester Pike in Broomall.

Interment will be private.
