Broomall Firefighter Dies
United States Marine Corps veteran and Broomall Fire Company firefighter Eric Brown died Saturday.
BROOMALL, PA β A member of the Delaware County first responder community has died.
Firefighter Eric Brown died Saturday, according to the Broomall Fire Company and his obituary.
Brown, a United States Marine Corps veteran, is survived by his wife Lauren and song Hunter and Jordan, among other family members.

"Ericβs heart and his desire to help others were unmistakable," the fire company said. "His love for his family was fervent, especially when he spoke of his sons."
Brown joined the Broomall Fire Company in 2020 and was a familiar and friendly presence around the station before joining.

He was known for "responding to calls with a smile and a willingness to help in any way he could," the fire company said.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Brown's name can be made to the Broomall Fire Company online here.
Relatives and friends are invited to memorial services at 1 p.m. Sunday at Joseph Levine & Sons, 2811 West Chester Pike in Broomall.
Interment will be private.
"We offer our sincerest condolences and send our prayers to the Brown Family," the fire company said. "May Eric rest in peace and forever watch over his family and friends."
