Marple Township Board of Commissioners Seek To Fill Open Spot

Marple Township is seeking commissioner applications following the recent resignation of Ward 7 Commissioner Daniel Leefson.

MARPLE, PA - Marple Township is seeking commissioner applications following the recent resignation of Ward 7 Commissioner Daniel Leefson.

To apply for the municipal leadership role, candidates must be a Marple Township registered voter and Ward 7 resident for at least one year prior to appointment.

Candidates will be required to present a signed affidavit to the township secretary stating that he or she resides in Marple Township Ward 7 and has resided in Ward 7 continuously for at least one year immediately prior to the appointment, the township said in a solicitation for applications.

Those interested in applying are asked to submit a letter of interest and resume to the attention of Township Manager, Township of Marple (227 S. Sproul Rd. Broomall, PA 19008) or via email to lgentile@marpletwp.com by Feb. 3.

The Board of Commissioners are anticipated to make the appointment at the upcoming Feb. 13 meeting.
