3 Days of Dining Under the Stars During U.S. Open Week
The murder mystery play 'Death on the 16th Fairway' will also be showing at the Media Theatre the week of the U.S. Open.
Media Borough's dine al fresco event will take place on three days the week that the U.S. Open is in town.
Dining Under the Stars will take place on June 10, 11, and 12 as opposed to just the regularly scheduled Wednesday event.
Media Borough Council approved the additional days at its meeting on May 16.

Media has proclaimed the week of June 10 as Golf Week in honor of the U.S. Open coming to nearby Merion Golf Club in Haverford.
The Media Business Authority has partnered with the PGA, which will provide golf-themed games during Dining Under the Stars as well.

Between the hours of 5 and 11 p.m., traffic is blocked off of State Street, from Jackson to Orange streets. And new this year, State Street will also be closed west of Orange Street, however Orange Street will remain open. Dogs are not permitted at the event.
Murder Mystery on the Golf Course
What better accompaniment to a golf tournament than a murder mystery play.
Death on the 16th Fairway will show at the Media Theatre, June 5-16 featuring narration by Emmy Award winning sportscaster Jim Kelly at the June 5, 6, 7, and 9 productions.
The play, is the story of Ryan’s Way Country Club, an exclusive golf, dining, and fitness facility, written by avid golfer and investment adviser Art Leahy. The show is a fictional creation based on Leahy’s behind-the-scenes experience as a golf club member and financial professional.
