3 Teens Escape Delco School For Adjudicated Youth Over Weekend: PSP
Pennsylvania State Police said three boys — 15, 17, and 18 — escaped the Clock Tower School in Thornbury then stole a staffer's Range Rover.
GLEN MILLS, PA — Three students escaped a Delaware County facility for adjudicated youth this weekend, and the three stole a staff member's vehicle, authorities said.
According to Pennsylvania State Police, staff at the Clock Tower School, 185 Glen Mills Road in Thornbury Township, at about 1:10 p.m. Saturday told police three students escaped the school and stole a staff member's Range Rover, as well as a cell phone.
The three students were attending the school on a court order. One was identified as 18-year-old Javontay Johnson, while the others were only identified as 17 and 15 years old. All are from Washington DC.

Authorities said the stolen phone was last tracked traveling south on State Route 202, in the area of the Concord Mall in Wilmington, Delaware. However, the stolen phone was turned off shortly after entering Delaware, police said.
Investigators used GPS tracking on the students' ankle monitors and learned all three were in Washington DC.

DC police were notified of the students' travel direction, and an arrest warrant was obtained for Johnson.
Johnson was taken into custody Tuesday in Washington DC. The 17-year-old was also taken into custody
Additionally, criminal charges have been submitted for the 17- and 15-year-old boys. Those charges are pending review by the Delaware County District Attorney’s Office.
