Delco Ready to Bike to Work
The county is participating in Bike to Work week starting Monday.
The Delaware County Government will be celebrating Bike to Work Week, which starts Monday, May 13.
The county is holding a. Those looking to participate in the ride can meet at the county courthouse at 8:30 a.m. Refreshments and prizes will be available.
In a release from the county's planning department, the celebration is part of an effort to "help make others aware of alternative means of commuting ... to avoid gas and parking expenses ... to minimize pollution ... to exercise and have fun."
