Delco Teacher Admits Child Sex Assault

The Broomall man pleaded guilty Tuesday to inappropriately touching two 7-year-old pupils.

A Delaware County teacher on Tuesday pleaded guilty to inappropriately touching two 7-year-old pupils.

Paul Hochschwender, 55, of Broomall surrendered to authorities on Tuesday, The Philadelphia Inquirer said. He will be sentenced April 7.

Hochschwender taught in the Radnor Township School District from 1993 to 2000, the Inquirer said. He had most recently been employed as a second-grade teacher at Darby Township School.

Hochschwender pleaded guilty to two counts of institutional sexual assault, four counts of indecent assault and four counts of corruption of minors, the Inquirer said.
