Stolen Truck Found In Traffic Stop, Police Say

The truck was stopped in the lane of travel on Route 1 just prior to Route 452 in Middletown Township, police say.

A stolen vehicle was found during a traffic stop, according to State Police.

At about 8:07 p.m. on May 6, police observed a Ford F-150 sitting stationary in the lane of travel on Route 1 just prior to Route 452 in Middletown Township, according to State Police.

As police approached the vehicle, the driver, an 18-year-old Pittsburgh woman, got out of the truck, according to State Police.

The truck was found to be stolen out of West Goshen Township, Chester County, according to State Police.

The woman was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property and driving without a license, according to court documents.

She failed to post bail and was committed to Delaware County Prison awaiting a preliminary hearing.
