2 Men Charged In Pittsburgh Shooting, Police Chase
Multiple police departments were involved in the pursuit of two men involved in a shooting.
PITTSBURGH, PA — Two men face charges in connection with a shooting Thursday in McKees Rocks and a subsequent police chase that ended in Robinson Township.
Allegheny County Housing Authority Police and McKees Rocks police were dispatched Thursday afternoon to a reported shooting in the 100 block of Bell Avenue. They found an adult woman with shrapnel wounds to her shin, left hand and left cheek. She was taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Allegheny County police aiding the investigation identified a vehicle involved in the shooting that was soon spotted in McKees Rocks. The vehicle fled an attempted police stop, nearly striking an officer in the process.

The ensuing police chase involving several police departments ended in the 100 block of Petrie Drive in Robinson. The two suspects, Steven Bryant Jr. and Gaj Walker, were apprehended a shot time later in some nearby woods.
On Friday, Bryant was charged with aggravated assault, aggravated assault to a law enforcement officer,criminal conspiracy, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer and reckless driving. Walker has been been charged with aggravated assault, firearm violations, criminal conspiracy, tampering with/fabricating physical evidence, and narcotics violations.

Both men are in the Allegheny County Jail.
