Gaydos Edges Turici For PA 44th Legislative District Seat

MOON TOWNSHIP, PA — Republican state Rep. Valerie Gaydos was re-elected to the state House Tuesday as she defeated Democratic challenger Debbi Turici. for the 44th Legislative District seat.

Gaydos had 16,235 votes to Turici's 13,346, according to the Allegheny County elections division. All results are unofficial until verified by the elections division.

The Legislative district contains Aleppo, Crescent, Findlay Township, Moon Township, North Fayette, Bell Acres, Edgeworth, Glen Osborne, Glenfield, Haysville, Leet Township, Leetsdale, Sewickley, Sewickley Heights and Sewickley Hills.
