Guns Stolen In Moon Vehicle Break-Ins

MOON TOWNSHIP, PA — Township police are investigating several car burglaries last week that resulted in unattended firearms being stolen. The incidents happened in the Moon Clinton Road and Becks Run Road areas and surrounding neighborhoods.

The Moon Police Special Investigations Unit is requesting residents to review home video surveillance systems for possible leads. Residents can contact investigators at 412-262-5000 or investigations@moonpolice.us with information.

Police reached out on social media to thank residents who already have come forward with information. The department also reminded residents to keep their vehicles locked and not to leave valuables in them, especially firearms.
